Activities in the Cotswolds

Where to start...

Riding Lessons/Hacking

For hacking out with beautiful views try www.overdale-equestrian.co.uk in Nether Westcote.

For lessons try Talland Equestrian near Cirencester, this is available for beginners to a more advanced level where lessons are available on advanced horses. This is Pammy and her son Charlie Huttons establishment (GB Young Rider, Intermediare I Freestyle National Champion). They specialise in dressage but have an array of instructors and are also great with the children or for a spot of cross country. You also have the fantastic pub “The Village Pub” in the next door village of Barnsley which is great and perfect for some lunch after or before your lesson or even a hot chocolate with rum if you are about to go cross country and need some dutch courage!
